Verso is for people narrating their own work, public-domain books, or titles they are licensed to record. Cloning someone else is not allowed. You confirm both on the way in.
- What files work?
- EPUB is best. PDF works when the file has real text, not photos of pages. Plain .txt is always fine.
- Does my voice leave the device?
- Yes — the sample is sent to Fish Audio to create a private voice model. Studio narrators use a separate hosted voice. Generated audio is yours to download.
- Can I put this on my iPhone?
- Publish Verso, open it in Safari, then Add to Home Screen. That is the first way onto a phone. The App Store is a later, separate step.
